What we are looking for?
ACARES is looking for passionate and committed Team Leader to join our organisation. We are keen to speak to people that are interested in building their career within the dynamic disability sector.
We have an exciting opportunity as team leader of one of our residential units in the Norther suburbs of Melbourne.
Your daily duties may entail hands-on client care, rostering, liaison with community stakeholders and service providers.
Mandatory requirements:
- Team management experience
- National police check
- Working with children check
- First aid and CPR certificates
- Ability to work regular, ongoing shifts
Highly desirable:
- Certificate IV in Disability or higher
- Previous experience managing a residential facility
- Current driver's licence and reliable car
- Manual handling training and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
