About the role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals interested in obtaining permanent employment to work predominantly in our Tamworth Accommodation and In-Home and Community services.
Staff will need to be available to work across a 24/7 roster. Successful candidates must have weekend and evening availability.
Reporting to the coordinators, you will be required to safely assist and appropriately support clients with opportunities to reach their individual goals through meaningful activities at a facility or in the community.
This role would be suited to those with a genuine desire to promote the independence and inclusion in society of people with a disability. As well as a desire to support individuals to have a voice, choice, and exercise control over their own lives to achieve their individual goals.
Ideally you will have
- Experience supporting clients with complex needs, related to their disability, health or social condition and an awareness of how this impacts that person and their family/carers.
- Current First Aid certificate
- Valid National Police History Check
- Valid Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current Australian Driver's License
