Drake Medox – Supporting the community in disability care for over 30 years!
We are currently recruiting outstanding Support Workers in the Morayfield area to assist our young male client to smash some goals. Our client has interests in languages, sport, crocheting and natural healing.
This role involves, but is not limited to:
• Assisting with ADL’
s• Domestic assistance including meal preparation
• Gym/Physio sessions
• Social activities/community outings
• Attending appointments
To be considered for this role, the following criteria are mandatory
:• First Aid Certificate (Current 3 years)
• CPR Certificate (Current 1 year)
• Manual Handling (Current 1 year)
• Police Clearance (Current 3 years)
• 2 Work Referees (Current 2 years)
• Drivers Licence – Red P plates+
While not mandatory a Certificate III or IV or Diploma (Disability, Community or Aged Care) is highly desirable, as is experience working with Traumatic Brain Injuries.
These roles will be on a casual basis with monthly rosters.
