We're currently seeking to employment multiple Employment Coach's across the following sites:

  • Plenty ESA: Heidelberg & Preston sites
  • Bayside ESA
  • Also Yarra ESA: Abbotsford & South Melbourne

Personal Criteria:

In your role as an Employment Coach you will meet many individuals from all walks of life. Each person has their own story to share and some may face personal battles on a daily basis. Very often people living with mental illness are people who are sensitive and vulnerable people who have experienced significant trauma in their lives. They need to be heard and importantly understood!

In your role as an Employment Coach, empathy goes a long way and compassion is a MUST. It is important to establish a good rapport with each client right from the beginning to win their trust and to promote a safe and positive environment. This will help boost their self-confidence and pave way to a better life through employment that they will be able to find with your guidance and support.

Client Requirements:

  • Compassion and empathy is a MUST;
  • Love for people/people-first approach to communication;
  • Active listening skills;
  • Ability to establish a good rapport with clients;
  • Treat clients with respect at all times;
  • Ability to create a safe, positive and judgement-free environment for client;.
  • Provide guidance and support when required to help boost client's morale and confidence;
  • Show genuine desire to make a positive change in someone's life.

Operational Requirements:

  • Proven ability to meet and achieve KPI's;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contractual requirements - knowledge of disability standards and guidelines;
  • Reverse Marketing and cold calling experience;
  • Case Management'
  • Stellar communication skills;
  • Experience as an Employee Consultant of minimum 1 year;
  • Experience in Disability Employment Sector.

Experience with Employment Services is an advantage, but aptitude and attitude are more important, not to mention creativity, intelligence and wonderful people and time management skills.
