About the role
The Family Engagement and Intake Worker will be a core member of the headspace Melton team and employed by MacKillop Family Services.
This role incorporates two roles, Family Engagement Worker and Intake and Access Worker. Reporting to the Coordinator, this position is responsible for providing a family inclusive service delivery to young people and their family and friends accessing the headspace centre located in Melton.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess a demonstrated understanding of the health and wellbeing needs of young people, particularly those with disabilities, mental health and or substance use problems. You will have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in Social Work, Family Therapy, Counselling or Psychology.
