Campbell Page is a not-for- profit organisation, dedicated to transforming people's lives by securing long-term employment for the most disadvantaged. Our reach extends from community, youth, Indigenous and family programs through to education, training and employment services.

About the role

This is a causal role within the Moruya Youth Refuge. You will provide support, encouragement and structure to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. 
As the Refuge provides a 24 hour service; shift work will be a requirement including nights and weekends. 

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience working with young people and families
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with young people aged 12-24 years
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a team environment.
  • Well-developed communication skills (oral and written), along with demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Current First Aid Certificate. 
  • Knowledge of youth and family advocacy and support systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WHS legislation.
  • Minimum Certificate III level qualifications in community services (or equivalent)
  • Availability to work nights and weekends. 

You will bring to the role your previous experience working with community services, specifically youth and families. You’ll have highly developed networking skills in order to build relationships and have a good working knowledge of local community services within the Eurobodalla region.

Your natural optimism and resilient nature will be an asset, and you’ll enjoy working to and achieving targets. You’ll also require a Drivers License and be prepared to undertake a National Criminal History Check as well as the Working With Children Check.
