We're currently seeking to employ a Community Partnership Advocate to join our team across the Melbourne Metro Area.

We are currently in the process of implementing an exciting new Service Model within the Employment Services sector. In response to this we are seeking to employ an experienced Community Partnership Advocate who is ready for new challenges to make a positive and empowering difference to our clients across multiple sites.

Your role will entail:

  • Seek, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders to attract new clients to our services.
  • Educate employers and stakeholders on the benefits of diversity and inclusion in workplace.
  • Work closely with Service Leaders to help identify local partnerships and contribute to overall business development.
  • Help drive Ostara Australia's initiatives and promote our services ensuring our clients reap the benefits.
  • Ability to successfully deliver presentations to both the community and employers.
  • Network and represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and/or relevant forums.
  • Provide reports to the organisation and interpret, analyse performance data.
  • Provide leadership and help foster a positive working culture.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in the Disability Employment Sector and/or working with people with mental health issues to gain sustainable employment.
  • A can-do attitude with a high standard of professionalism, attention to detail and ability to show innovation through business development and marketing activities.
  • Demonstrate a proven history and track record of results of successful business development and/or community development and partnerships.
  • Have well-developed interpersonal skills, an influencing communication style and the ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • The ability to connect with people from various backgrounds and industries.
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business targets and KPI's.
  • Proven ability to think on your feet, outstanding problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to recommend alternative solutions (‘think outside the square') to assist our clients.
  • Must have strong business acumen.
  • Proven experience in presenting to large audiences.
  • Extensive knowledge of Mental Health and the challenges that impact individuals seeking employment.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • This role may at times involve working outside nominal hours; applicants must be flexible to accommodate business needs.
  • All employees must have full drivers licence.
