Diabetes Victoria is the leading charity and peak consumer body working to support, empower and campaign for all Victorians affected by, or at risk of, diabetes. Our work covers type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes.

The full-time role of Community Engagement Coordinator is based in the Fundraising and Partnerships Team and is responsible for coordinating community fundraising programs and campaigns and increasing revenue for Diabetes Victoria.
This role includes:
- Coordinating community fundraising programs including third party fundraising and workplace giving
- Implementing new projects to increase community fundraising income
- Acquiring, developing and managing relationships with donors and supporters
- Engaging workplaces, schools, community groups and small business with fundraising for Diabetes Victoria
- Reporting on community fundraising program ROI and outcomes
In this role you will work directly with the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager and Head of Business Development to implement an action plan that will attract, promote and secure new Diabetes Victoria fundraisers and donors.
We are looking for someone with an outgoing and confident personality, who has experience in community fundraising for a charity organisation.
The role suits someone with a results focus, and a proven ability to achieve fundraising KPIs. The ability to build new relationships with potential supporters and excellent organisational and time management skills are essential. Familiarity with the Fundraising Act and other relevant laws and standards is also a must.
