About Us
AEIOU Foundation is one of Australia’s leading providers of early intervention for children with autism who are aged 2-6 years. Our evidence-based program supports children to develop essential life skills, fostering greater independence, confidence and inclusion.
The full-time program is delivered by a transdisciplinary team comprised of behaviour therapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, teachers and educators.
Along with supporting the individual needs of each child, families receive regular training and tools to achieve therapy goals in the home and broader community.
AEIOU Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, operating across nine centres in Queensland and South Australia with a national expansion program underway.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will actively work alongside families to ensure families can access and maintain the most appropriate NDIS support plan and funding for their child/ren.
About You
You will have:
- A strong understanding of the NDIS and existing knowledge and stakeholder relationships with the Agency and relevant Government departments
- Proven ability to establish relationships with families and the Agency and relevant Government departments
- Knowledge of and a commitment to early intervention as a strategy to optimise child outcomes
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
You will also have excellent negotiation skills, time management skills, professional communication skills and demonstrated experience networking and developing and delivering NDIS workshops.
