An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced relationship fundraising manager to join our team as the Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager. In this position, you will be instrumental in increasing the number of partnerships and supporters through corporate partnerships, community fundraising and our donation dog fundraising programs.

You will be an experienced and driven leader with strong relationship management and fundraising / business development skills, with the proven ability to deliver on organisational objectives and goals. You will have the following responsibilities, among others:

  • Develop and manage the Corporate Partnership Strategy;
  • Lead and develop a team of fundraising professionals to deliver on financial targets;
  • Proactively develop and manage corporate partnerships and community fundraising to establish new partnerships and nurture existing relationships to maximise their support; and
  • Oversee Guide Dogs NSW/ACT Donation Dog program to ensure it is well maintained, innovative and has continued strong relevance in coin donations and the tap-to-donate market.

To be considered for this opportunity you must demonstrate your achievement in the following areas (the selection criteria):

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant senior business development management role;
  • Experience managing staff to achieve financial targets;
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills at all levels;
  • Aptitude in operational planning, budget and resource management;
  • Be a creative and insightful thinker, and have strong problem solving skills; and
  • Strong project management skills.
