Bolton Clarke is the new face of RSL Care and RDNS. An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join the team at Bolton Clarke till the end of June 2019 and available mid-July, 2018. 

This position will be located within the Southern Region of Melbourne, Frankston Peninsula and surrounding areas. The fixed term part time role will see you working 48 hours a fortnight until June 2019 and involve traveling to client’s homes, community based services and staff to provide a quality service to Bolton Clarke staff, clients, their carers’ and other community based services. A phone and a laptop computer will be provided. Work remotely but within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

• Provide comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection treatment and referrals whilst evaluating the effects of the treatment
• A focus on falls prevention & continuous improvement to the overall programme
• Develop care plans in consultation with the resident and their family
• Analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills necessary to manage varying and/or conflicting stakeholder demands. Desired Experience:
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience within Aged or Community care environment (desirable)  
• Understanding of all relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care sector (desirable). 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Current Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA (essential)

All candidates must have a current Victorian Drivers Licence, certified rights to work in Australia and National AHPRA registration. Access to a registered reliable car is also essential.
