Does this sound like you? Reporting to the Regional Manager for the Lifestyles team, you will be responsible for effectively leading and managing the staff of the Allambie Heights Lifestyle centre based programs and services. You will facilitate and support your team through change; actively assist your team with service development activities; and support team members to develop their own solutions to issues that arise. You will also work directly with clients and families in ensuring the services meets their needs.

This role is located in Allambie Heights with occasional travel to our others sites in Metro Sydney. Allambie Heights Lifestyle centre provides a range of day services to adults with cerebral palsy or similar disability, promoting community access and integration of adults with cerebral palsy. The service strives to meet the changing needs of adults with special needs, therefore a collaborative approach to the planning and delivery of services is essential.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Demonstrated experience in a management role. Ideally in a community based, health or disability service
  • a thorough understanding of the rights of people with a disability
  • skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, administration and decision-making
  • well developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • current driver’s licence
  • CPR & First Aid, or willingness to obtain upon joining.
  • Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain upon joining.
