Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the key aspects of this
- Leading systems change through policy development, strategies and processes that build the capacity of MASP and its staff to operate within a trauma-informed framework;
- Increase outcomes for clients with complex behaviors;
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based systems for service delivery;
- Provide support and critical incident debriefing for staff and carers exposed to direct or vicarious trauma;
- Contribute to robust clinical governance systems through thematic analysis of client behaviours and trends and developing appropriate interventions and responses;
- Assist the organisation to ensure we are best supporting the emotional, physical and psychological needs of the children and young people we work with.
Essential:
- Strong understanding of trauma informed practice and its relationship to our services
- University qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a relevant related discipline
- Previous experience in a leadership role where you influenced positive client outcomes
- Demonstrated experience in developing new service models to meet current and emerging trends
- Courage and interpersonal skills to initiate, develop, and manage change
- Personal drive to succeed and get the job done
- Great collaboration skills with clients, work colleagues, other organisations and government departments
