We raise money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses, wherever they're needed.

Since 2005, more than 64,000 families have been supported by 120 McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia.

Our Community & Campaigns Fundraising team is growing with a fantastic opportunity for a 12 month contract. Bring your experience in fundraising and relationship building to raise funds and help make a difference.

About the role: 
We are seeking an engaging and motivated fundraising officer to support the Community and Campaigns team. Reporting to the Community and Campaigns Manager, your role is to coordinate the successful execution of our community fundraising campaigns ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.

• Proactively engage with the community and Foundation supporters to drive growth across our key fundraising campaigns
• Utilise your high energy to build meaningful relationships and identify fundraising opportunities within the community
• Utilise your excel skills to provide reporting on fundraising activity and call volumes to the Campaign Manager
• Liaise with various internal stakeholders to ensure events meet internal requirements, and successfully advance the impact of the McGrath Foundation’s community activities
• Assist with administrative tasks across the Community & Campaigns fundraising team

You need to be:

• Experienced in a similar role, with high level customer service skills.
• Happy, fun & confident, making sure our supporters feel special every time you interact with them.
• A people person, you’ll be on the phone answering queries most of the day, so helping people out has to be what you love to do.
• A clear communicator with a high attention to detail.
• Creative problem solver, you’ll always consider the road less travelled and help our supporters in any way you can.
