We are seeking a suitably experienced team member who can work strategically and under pressure to support us to achieve our commitment to our clients.
The key focus of the position
The Area Referrals and Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for responding to new referrals, entering new clients into the Comcare system and in collaboration with the CNS Area Coordinator and Care Coordinator, provide efficient and effective rostering and scheduling services. This will enable the smooth delivery of highly productive rostering of our clinical and non-clinical field staff to meet the needs of our clients and the organisation.
Skills and Experience
- Absolute commitment to client centred care and support where courtesy and respect are essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the use of current computerised rostering systems used in the Community Aged Care Sector.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply Acts, Regulations, Awards and Agreements.
- Well developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, demonstrated ability to successfully build relationships including a demonstrated commitment to providing effective client services and to interact with involved staff, management and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated effective planning, organising and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate the team in a high volume work environment and the ability to deliver multiple outcomes within tight timeframes where attention to detail is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable and a commitment to achieving results.
- Well developed PC/keyboard skills and experience in the use of Microsoft.
- Satisfactory criminal history check
