Due to a significant restructure, Foundations Care Ltd (NGO) is seeking to appoint a new role of House Manager in South West (SW) Queensland to lead practice to achieve Residential program outcomes for young people aged 12-17 years under an innovative therapeutic support model.
The House Manager – Therapeutic Residential position is a key leadership and operational management role, operating under management level Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The role has a strong focus on directly supporting and mentoring a therapeutic direct-support staff team to achieve goals for young people in out of home care. The position works in collaboration with a Therapeutic Specialist to oversee individualised plans for house residents and maintains direct responsibility for managing the operation of the household and program contract.
You will ideally be a qualified manager with significant practice experience in a relevant field and welcome the opportunity to combine practice, leadership and management skills while holding accountability for the delivery of residential contract outcomes. You will oversee the quality and outputs of services, leading by best practice example and be willing to provide hands-on support in situations of complexity. You will be competent in establishing and maintaining key relationships and be an enthusiastic and competent manager and leader demonstrating core capability in team financial and human resource management. Familiarity with relevant QLD legislation, standards, quality parameters and OOHC/Foster Care or residential service business practices are highly desirable.
