About the Role
This is a fulltime, permanent role which exists to:
- Ensure people with a disability are supported to live a good life, in their own home and local community.
- Lead teams of Senior Support Workers and Support Workers to ensure the provision of high quality support to people with disability.
- Develop and lead strategies that attract, train and retain an appropriately skilled workforce to provide appropriate services to the diverse needs of people with disability.
- Manage a team of Senior Support Workers, fostering the ongoing development of their skills and capabilities.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading select operational teams ensuring service delivery is:
- reflective of family and supported persons’ need;
- aligned to quality outcomes; and
- compliant with NDIS.
Demonstrated supervisory capability within the disability services sector combined with experience in planning, co-ordinating and administering the delivery of dynamic services are essential attributes of the successful candidates. Sound financial management and analytical skills which can be applied to the development and implementation of person centred strategies will underpin the successful delivery of outcomes associated with these roles. Experience rostering teams of Support Workers will be highly regarded.
Qualifications/Licences
- Relevant qualifications and/or substantial years of relevant experience;
- Experience working with a Positive Behaviour Support Model will be highly regarded
- Current first aid and CPR qualifications;
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
