Orana is a leading provider of in-home, employment and respite services for people with disabilities and older people in metropolitan and regional South Australia.

We are currently seeking a passionate Service Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day engagement of in-home clients, focusing on person-centred practice by coaching and supervising Client Coaches within their designated service.

Based in the Northern Metropolitan area, the Service Manager will ensure that work practices are consistent with:

  • The philosophy, policies and procedures of Orana, which holds people with a disability as valued members of their community
  • The National Disability Standards
  • The legal and ethical requirements of service delivery including Duty of Care

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Human Services, Allied Health, Nursing, Community Services (desirable)
  • Experience in service delivery in a human services environment working within a person-centred environment
  • A high level of supervisory experience including ability to manage and coach staff
  • Experience in person-centred practice achieving client outcomes
  • Experience working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme is highly desirable
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting
  • Experience in the implementation of client support plans relating to people with a disability
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Management practices, e.g. performance management
  • A current Driver's Licence
  • A current DCSI Screening is required before commencing employment
