House Keeping | Kitchen Hand | Community Care
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper / Kitchen hand to join a dedicated family of passionate individuals who serve the care needs of an ageing community throughout Brisbane. This is a role for someone driven by the desire to truly contribute to peoples lives and be part of a committed team environment.
The Role -
As this is a support role, your duties will change every day, but will generally include assisting elderly to Housekeeping, Food preparation, Cleaning and assisting with day-to-day tasks, liaising with and assisting the Health Care Coordinator and other related tasks aimed at ensuring the elderly attain and maintain optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life.
You MUST have the following-
• Kitchen hand/Housekeeping experience in a Support/community setting
• Current drivers licence and own, reliable vehicle
• Ability to respond to call-outs after hours
• Flexibility and desire to work as part of a very family orientated team
• Friendly, warm nature and the true desire to contribute
There are two types of shifts available
- 7.30am - 2 pm Full time or
- 1pm-9.00pm Full time ( sleepover required )
