Swinburne Student Life is now offering a fantastic fixed term opportunity for a highly driven and motivated Volunteering Officer to support the Swinburne Volunteering program. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick off their career in a supportive and fun team environment dedicated to enhancing student experiences.
In addition to providing exceptional customer service, this role will:
- Recruit and support volunteers of diverse backgrounds, study modes and interests
- Develop on/off campus and online volunteering opportunities
- Administer the Swinburne Volunteering program through record-keeping, process development and communications
- Build meaningful relationships across Swinburne and with external Community Partners
- Be involved in innovative projects to enhance student experience and employability

About you
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in volunteer administration and communications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills
- Demonstrated collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders including students, industry, community and government
