About the position
The Out of Home Care Caseworker will provide Casework and support as well as assist with identifying, establishing and supporting placements for Aboriginal Children and Young people in Out of Home Care and their Carer in the Hunter Region.
The Caseworker has the responsibility of case managing 13 Children and Young People.
The Out of Home Care program finds safe, supportive and culturally
appropriate homes for Aboriginal Children and Young People with a focus on
relative and kinship carers.
Full-Time position- 38 hours per week
Participate in an on-call Roster
Aboriginality is an essential criteria and is authorised under Section 14D of NSW Anti- Discrimination Act 1977.
Remuneration
Remuneration commencing $64,000.00 per year under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.
Wages can be negotiated with successful applicant.
