CORE Community Services (CCS) - we are a not-for-profit community organisation which has been operating in South West Sydney for almost 40 years. We deliver a wide range of services, activities and programs across five key service areas - Children's Services, Youth Services, Multicultural Communities, Aged and Disability Care and Community Engagement.
The position is based at our head office and provides administration and high quality customer service and support to the Youth Services team and our clients.
We are looking for someone who is able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high level of interpersonal and organisational skills, who is pro-active and has a pleasant manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet and greet clients and visitors
- Respond to enquiries from clients, other organisations and suppliers appropriately and efficiently
- Develop, implement and maintain service files, documentation and promotional material through different mediums
- Produce and distribute quarterly newsletter
- Assist all internet and telephone referrals by providing up to date information on appropriate services
- Ensure cost effective maintenance services are selected and carried out
Selection Criteria:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an office support role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Advanced Word, Excel, Access, Outlook
- Minimum typing speed of 40wpm with 90% accuracy
- Ability to maintain high levels of privacy and confidentiality in regards to clients and business matters
Desirable: Ability to speak a second language will be looked upon favourably
