The role
The position of Family Response Facilitator is responsible for quality service delivery to children, young people, families and the community as they relate to the Family and Child Connect Service. This role will involve actively engaging with individuals and families to gather information in order to be able to assess their needs as they may relate to child protection issues.

- 2 x positions are available based in Roma and Charleville.
Key Selection Criteria:
- High level verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to engage with people who may be managing difficult and complex family situations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and competing demands effectively in a challenging environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to working within a professional team and also work independently.
- Willingness to complete relevant probity checks including blue and yellow card screening.
- Current Queensland “C” class driver’s licence.
- Applicants with relevant tertiary qualifications including a Diploma or Certificate in the human services sector (or willingness to undertake) would be highly regarded.
