Mission Australia in partnership with the WA Police, the Department of Child Protection and Noongar Outreach Services provide the Youth At Risk Initiative within the Perth CBD. This collaborative partnerships work to identify and support young people who are vulnerable, homeless or who are at risk of homelessness on a Friday and Saturday night between the hours of 9pm and 5am to ensure they are supported to access safe accommodation. The Outreach workers provide one on one support directly to young people identified in the Northbridge and CBD to refer them to mainstream case management and support services as well as the Initiative.
