The role of the Physiotherapist is to provide a quality service to Bolton Clarke staff, clients, their carers’ and other community based services in relation to direct care, falls and telehealth.


About the role

  • Provide comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection treatment and referrals whilst evaluating the effects of the treatment
  • Focus on falls prevention & continuous improvement to the overall programme
  • Develop care plans in consultation with the resident and their family
  • Analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills necessary to manage varying and/or conflicting stakeholder demands
  • What do we need from you?Demonstrated ability to provide high quality treatment and intervention to achieve maximal outcomes for a broad range of clients and conditions
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills and ability to influence performance
  • Understanding of financial reporting capabilities within a service delivery framework
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently as well as participate in a multidisciplinary team to empower clients to meet identified goals
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the aged and community care environment
  • Awareness of local health issues and demonstrated ability to work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds


Essential requirements


  • Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA
