Daws road Early Learning Centre and Unley Early Learning Centre has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood professional to join the Centre
Our services have a commitment to provide high quality education and care for the children. We have a well-established team of educators who have been instrumental in us achieving our rating of Exceeding the National Quality Standards under the National Quality Framework
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Developing and implementing the educational programs and achieving quality learning outcomes
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities
- Design and follow a full schedule of activities and routines
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
- Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families, carers and other team members
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines and interests
- Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices
Skills and experience
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their experiences
- Proven experience in a similar role
- A relevant early childhood education qualification
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven willingness to learn and improve
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

The successful applicant must hold a Diploma in children's services or certificate 3.
Applicants must hold
· A current First Aid Qualification approved by ACECQA
· A current Responding to abuse and neglect training certificate.
· A current Screening and Background check.
