The Position

We are seeking an experienced Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our team at Hurstbridge Children's Centre

Hurstbridge Children's Centre is a lovely, welcoming childcare centre housed within Hurstbridge's new state-of-the-art community centre. We deliver high quality and inclusive early education and care for children aged three months to five years. Our team of nurturing and experienced educators will partner with you to develop a play-based learning program that helps your child realise their potential.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will work together with a team at the Centre to provide an appropriate developmental and enriching program for the children within the 0 to 2 age group, which maximises opportunities for them to develop to their full potential. The ideal candidate will have the ability to take initiative, be self-driven, have experience working with the 0-2 year olds and leading a team of Educators, and the ability to build strong and trusting relationships with children and families .

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week, plus an additional 2 hours to allow for a monthly RDO. The hours of work will extend between 6:45 am to 6.30pm on a rotational roster.

The position commences ASAP

The successful applicant must possess the following outlined requirements:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• Current Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• Level 2 First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Anaphylaxis Certificate
• Asthma Certificate
• Right to Work in Australia
