About the business
Insight Family Day Care
We are a small Family Day Care scheme located in Bankstown. We are looking for two highly motivated, dedicated, and confident individuals to join our team as a Nominated Supervisor and an Educational leader separately.
About the roles
The Nominated Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of the scheme. You are required to have an extensive understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and MTOP. Additionally, you must possess the practical experience and skill of ensuring all regulatory requirements are being met and are able to implement any new changes to ensure you remain compliant.
The Educational leader's key objective will be to contribute to the care and education of children by designing, implementing and evaluating an inclusive and innovative early learning program. You should also confidently liaise with your team to provide educational leadership to educators, teachers and administrative staff.
Criteria and skills required:
Nominated Supervisor
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Must be able to meet current requirements to be approved as a Certified Supervisor
- Previous leadership and management experience as a supervisor.
- Experience evaluating, developing and implementing a Quality Improvement Plan(QIP) in accordance with the NQF.
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Current Police check
- Understanding of the NQF and NQS
- Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm
- Sound computer skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, regulations, standards and requirements
- Knowledge of CCMS and use of child care management programs
- Collection of fees and reporting
- Manage rostering
- Can multi-task
- Current and valid NSW driver's license
This position is a permanent full-time position with a qualifying 6-month probational period.
Working hours are from 9 am – 5 pm, Monday through to Friday.
Educational Leader
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience within an Early Childhood Education setting
- Practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Experience evaluating, developing and implementing a Quality Improvement Plan(QIP) in accordance with the NQF.
- A current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- A current Working with Children Check
- A current police check
- Child protection training
- Sound computer skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, regulations and requirements
- Strong team-work skills
- Current and valid NSW driver's license
This position is a permanent part time position with a qualifying 6-month probational period.
