The Centre

This centre has been in operation for 50 years and has recently had a complete renovation.

It caters to 60 children aged 0 - 5 years of age.

It has recently been rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standards.

The current owners are committed to the continuation of their quality service provision and believe that the more connected and engaged an educator is in their role, as well as the community the more the children and centre will flourish.

They are proud to say they have had a long tenure from their team, who work to provide the best quality holistic education possible for the children in their care.

The centre is a Reggio Emilia inspired centre that believes extension and scaffolding from the emergent curriculum shown from the childrens interests and ideas is what can help engage and encourage learning and development.

The centre is in operation from 7am - 6pm - Monday to Friday.

The Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to be the Room Leader within the Toddlers Room.

This is a full-time role working 4 or 5 days per week.

You will be responsible for managing and supporting the staff, mentoring, planning, programming, supervising the children, monitoring the documentation process, and being a key point of contact for the parents.

This role is suited to an educator that is appreciative of others practice, experience, perspective and able to mentor. Ideal for an educator who is capapble of leading from the front in a hands-on and role-modelling capacity.

• Hold a COMPLETED Bachelor/Masters of Early Childhood Education. (Overseas qualifications are welcome if assessed by ACECQA)
• MINIMUM of 5 years of previous experience in an Early Childhood Education & Care centre is essential.
• NESA/BOSTES Accreditation.
• Hold a current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate.
• Hold a current PAID NSW Working With Children's Check.
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous Leadership experience is essential.
• Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Learning framework and it's practical implementation.
• Be a vibrant, energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic inclusion to the team.
• Sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
