About the Role and what you can expect
  
Employed by Laureate Education Services Australia Pty Ltd to support the operational functions of TUA and/or TC; Laureate’s Success Coaches are qualified industry professionals in the relevant field of study able to leverage a student’s strengths, align their learning with their broader life purpose and give students the inside edge on success in their chosen career.
  
With a focus on the student’s career goals, the Success Coach will take a strengths-based approach to engage with and motivate students for study and career success.
  
You will be responsible for:
  • Building robust relationships with a dedicated portfolio of students
  • Providing support to students to maintain classroom and online participation, student engagement and Academic progression
  • Coaching students to secure work placements and/or internships during studies
  • Building students' personal and professional capabilities
  • Assisting students to increase their employability outcomes
  • Socialising industry insights to prepare students for the real world
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to continuously evolve world-class coaching models
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
  
We are looking for a positive, customer focused and driven individuals who are passionate about assisting students grow and develop to their full potential.
  
As a minimum requirement for this role:
  • Post-secondary qualification in a relevant field such as Anatomy and Physiology
  • Industry experience in Health Sciences such as Nutrition and Naturopathy
  • Coaching certification or experience with coaching conversations
  • Strong knowledge of career management and employability skills
  • A strong customer focus, exceptional communication skills and creativity in solving problems
  • Experience in Teaching/Academic Delivery, Student Services or Academic Learning Support is highly desirable
