The Role

We are opening a new centre located in Two Rocks in September 2018. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to set up a Kindergarten Program from scratch. You will have fresh ideas as well as tried and tested practices to bring to the table. This position reports directly to the Centre Manager.

Responsibilities/Duties include:

• To produce and teach a curriculum in line with the WA Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines.
• Oversee and maintain the developmental records of each child.
• Oversee and collaborate with staff to ensure that the program is continually improving.
• Over see that each room is aesthetically supporting family involvement and representing each child and their needs and interests.
• Understand and implement the EYLF in your program.
• To possess a sound understanding of the National Quality Standards and National Quality Framework.
• To provide ongoing support and assistance to the Authorised Supervisor in all areas of administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training, and any other areas as the need arises.
• Ability to satisfy the criteria for appointment as a Certified Supervisor. 

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor or Education (Early Childhood)
• Current Working with Children Check
