One of Sydney's Leading Educational Providers is experiencing unprecedented success, delivering training in multiple sites in Brisbane and Sydney. Due to their diversified approach, they are currently expanding their operations in Brisbane and Sydney by opening up an engaging new trainer opportunity. They are looking for an energetic, team-oriented Community Service trainer to join their dynamic training team.

Job Description:
As a Community Services Trainer, you will be responsible for conducting classes in our client’s Sydney campus through distance learning to students located in different countries through a virtual medium (i.e. video conferencing).
The trainer / teacher will also be responsible for curriculum / course material development and delivery, assessment of student work and reporting results. Additional tasks include but are not limited to:
- Deliver Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Certificate IV in Ageing Support and Diploma of Community Services in class room and simulation labs
- Monitor, mark and conduct students’ assessments
- Plan, review and improve training and assessment
- Participation in assessment validation
- Jobs may include travelling to other campuses in Australia
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/40116).
- Relevant qualification in Community Services or Social Care
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Sensitivity and ability to adapt teaching styles to students of different cultural backgrounds
- Vocational Experience/experience in teaching is preferable
- Ability of course design and content creation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in English
- Good IT skills and digital literacy experience
- Flexible to travel interstate
