About the Opportunity
Tennant Creek Child Care Centre currently has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Director to lead their team of professionals, based in Tennant Creek, NT.
In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation, as well as the financial and commercial success of the Tennant Creek Child Care Centre.
Key responsibilities with this role include:
- Providing leadership and direction for the Centre, including its staff, its programs and the maintenance and continuity of the National Framework;
- Recruitment, training and development of the team;
- Establishing and maintaining liaisons with other agencies in the community;
- Ensuring business and/or operational plans and budgets are developed and implemented; and
- Liaising with the Management Committee regarding all matters concerning the Centre, its staff and operations.

Tennant Creek Child Care Centre offers excellent facilities, as you work within a supportive and social team culture. The successful applicant will enjoy a highly attractive remuneration package circa $75,000 - $95,000 (commensurate with experience). This includes negotiable housing and relocation assistance (for interstate candidates), PLUS a range of additional benefits:

- 10 days personal leave

Tennant Creek Child Care Centre is a community based centre that operates Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 5.30pm, to provide long day care, out of school hours care and education to the children and families of Tennant Creek. Offering a range of affordable, high quality childcare, the Centre strives to provide creative opportunities to learn skills, while facilitating children's growth and development by providing a stimulating learning environment.
Located next to the local primary school, and run by a Management Committee consisting of parents, interested persons from the community and the Centre Director; the Tennant Creek Child Care Centre is fully accredited and is licensed for 50 long day care places.
