Early Childhood Teacher

As an Early Childhood Teacher at Cranley House Nursery School and ELC , you will be responsible for teaching and caring for children between the ages of eighteen months and three years, and the day-to-day management of your classroom. You will develop and deliver curriculum founded on the centre’s philosophies, create teaching goals and build open communication with children, families and other staff.

 

You will also be involved in planning and implementing the educational program, which take a holistic view of each child's development. You will have extensive knowledge of the EYLF and the Reggio Emilia approach, and an understanding of the NQF/NQS, complying with all regulations to meet the high standards required.

 

Essential skills include a sound knowledge of child development and age appropriate learning activities, as well as advanced English.

 

Minimum qualifications required are a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or similar, a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
