Sacred Heart School Thornlie Child Care Centre invites applications for the above part-time position.
The Centre operates Monday to Friday, 6.30am-6.30pm 51 weeks a year and offers a 56 place Early Learning Program for children aged 2 to 5 ½ in a school based setting.
The service requires someone who can work 24 hours per week with extra hours as required and be available Monday to Friday 6.30am to 6.30pm.
The successful applicant will have a passion for making a difference in early childhood education and care. They will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and to effectively communicate with staff, children and their families.
Selection criteria
- Diploma in Children's Services or working towards.
- Working knowledge of EYLF, NQS and all Legislative requirements
- WWC Check
- Certified Supervisor Certificate
Highly desirable
- Approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma certificates
The successful applicants will be required to work towards and obtain Accreditation to Work in Catholic Education (Schools) and to obtain a CrimTrac police check.
