The Practice
Epilepsy Action Australia is the leading and oldest provider of epilepsy services nationwide. They focus on improving self-management skills and increasing wider public understanding of epilepsy. They are at the forefront of partnering and funding research into interventions and treatments.
The Role
The function of the casual role is to provide professional education and training services to community organisations, schools and any other services requesting epilepsy training.
Primary Objectives:
- Delivery of educational services for families, community organisations and clinicians working with or servicing our client group
- Market and promote epilepsy training services in an allocated region
- Maintain professional standards in Nursing and abide by Epilepsy Action's policy and procedures.
Essential Criteria
- Must be currently listed as a Registered Nurse with APHRA and able to provide evidence of such
- High level verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision
- Computer literacy
- Current driver’s license, own vehicle and willingness to travel
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment is required
Previous experience in a similar community based role or related specialty would be well regarded but not essential.

North Sydney, Sydney West and Nepean Blue Mountains (only occasionally).
