The Centre
Our client is a highly regarded Community run non for profit Centre in Melbourne's northern suburbs. This is a not for profit service which prides itself on engaging with the local community and providing a safe and fun learning environment for the children in their care.  The welfare of the children is at the core of this services' values which has enabled them to have very low staff turnover. This in turn has enabled them to provide a supportive environment to their educators as well as offering a stable learning environment for the children within the service. 

The Opportunity 
This is a fantastic opportunity that has only arisen due to the last service manager relocating. As the Director you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre as well as motivating and inspiring your team of fantastic Educators.  A key aspect of your role will include overseeing OH&S practices, for which training will be provided, and you always be striving to improve what is already a fantastic service. As the successful candidate, you will be rewarded with above award conditions and lots of professional development opportunities. The candidate
You will be Diploma or Bachelor qualified with several years experience as a Director at a similar service. You will also present extensive knowledge of the EYLF, Qikkids program. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a proven track record in the management of budgets, rosters and policies. This is a full-time position.
  
Suitable applicants must have:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma of Children Services
• Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
• WWCC
• Right to work in Australia
• A minimum 3 to 4 years experience as a Centre Director in the large service.
