We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and passionate individual to cover a Maternity Leave position for a Long Day Care Service in Western Sydney. We seeking a full-time maternity leave cover beginning in August. The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and be passionate in making positive changes within the work environment to improve and impact the lives of educators, children, parents and the community. 

This position is for a fixed term of 8 - 12 months commencing end of July 2018. 

Successful candidates should have the following skills, qualifications and experience 

*ACEQUA approved Bachelor of Teaching/Early Childhood Education or Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent. 

*Must be able to meet current requirements to be approved as a certified supervisor

*National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check

*Experience being a 2IC/ Centre Manager or Director and leading a team of educators

*Child Protection Training needs to be current

*Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates.

*Understanding the NQF and NQS

*Excellent verbal and written skills

*Knowledge of CCMS/Qikkids program

Duties

*Oversee the day to day operations of the service

*Uphold the NQS, NQF, Early Years Learning Framework and the Education and Care Services National Regulations(2012) as well as the implementation of the services policies and procedures. 

*Work together with all educators to manage programming 

*Support all centre staff and assist with the recruitment of new staff if required. 

*Collect fees and monitor them

*Regular operational reports to be completed

*Managing and creating rosters
