PLYMPTON PRIMARY OSHC

OUT OF SCHOOL HOUR CARE DIRECTOR LEVEL 6

Plympton Primary OSHC is seeking to appoint an experienced person with the commitment to developing children and providing quality care.

This permanent part-time position will consist of minimum 24.5 hours/week term time (12.5 hours as floor shifts and 12 hours administration). During vacation care a requirement to work 37.5 hours/week inclusive of administration hours.

The Director will be required to work before school care 6:40-8:40am and after school care 2:30-6:00pm. Rosters floor shifts will be by negotiation with the Principal and Director. During vacation care it will be a requirement to work 37.5 hours inclusive of administration hours.

Desirable knowledge and experience:

 Sound leadership, operational and financial management skills

 Sound knowledge of childcare practices and compliance requirements

 Strong collaboration and team skills

 Ability to relate well with children, families and staff

 Knowledge of the NQF, MYTOP and programing for the OSHC environment

 Knowledge of Spike Software Knowledge of the CCMS and Children Services Award

 Experience working with children with additional needs

 Swimming instructor certificate

Required Qualifications:

 Diploma or Degree level qualification as approved by ACECQA

 First Aid qualifications as approved by ACECQA

 Responding to Abuse and Neglect training

 Child-Related Employment Screening DSCI Clearance
