About the role:

• Exciting opportunity to be part of a new centre that is individually owned
• Perfect location in Lilyfield. Close to public transport and CBD. Parking available
• You will be supported by an experienced Centre Director and Centre Manager
• You will be actively encouraged to use your creativity, skills and talents
• The owner is committed to providing high quality education and care and supporting staff with above award wages.
• Floating staff provided to support staff and ensure programming time
• We have 2 classes for 0-2, 2-3 and 3-5 years groups
• Generous resource budget provided.
• Paid lunch break
• 8 Hour shift
• RDO

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader and other team members to provide outstanding care and education to the children
• Participate in meetings with staff during work hours
• Use your skills to mentor team members and be willing to be mentored by others
• Work with the team to document each child's learning and provide an individually based curriculum

Essential Criteria:

• You will have a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Care and Education or a willingness to obtain
• WWWC, current first aid certificate, current asthma and anaphylaxis training, or a willingness to obtain
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Commitment to providing a quality curriculum
• Commitment to implement the NQY, NQS and EYLF
