Who are we?
ih Business College, ihBC, is a division of International House Sydney, one of Australia's most highly regarded English language and Teacher Training Centres. ihBC delivers VET courses in Business, Project Management, Leadership & Management and Marketing & Communication at our Sydney CBD and Bondi campuses. We are currently seeking an outstanding Head Trainer to join our dedicated team.

- Has a solid understanding of the BSB training packages and VET industry
- Has good computer Skills and understanding of Student and Learning Management systems
- Sound understanding of social media a plus
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing students progress and providing advice and guidance
- Marking assessments and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting students face to face, via the Learning Management System and by phone or other means of contact
- Contextualising and developing resources and assessment tools
- Developing and applying innovative teaching techniques
- Participating in validation sessions
- Contributing to continuous improvement by implanting or designing strategies
- Supporting management and other casual trainers
- Developing and improving the LMS
- Developing relationships with Industry key personals for high quality program delivery
You can teach the below:
- Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma
- Business
- Project & Program Management
- Marketing and communication
- Leadership and Management
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
- Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116), OR Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
- Qualifications relevant to the scope of teaching or above
- Professional Development and Industry currency
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) activities in the relevant area
- Practical industry experience in the relevant field
