The Company

bestchance Child Family Care is an independent, not for profit, community organisation, with over 500 employees located across multiple sites with offices located in Glen Waverley, Bayswater and Pakenham. The range of programs delivered include Family Day Care, Kindergarten, Child Care, Early Childhood Intervention, Parent and Child Support, Training, Community Support and Cheshire - an independent, primary school for children with social, emotional and learning difficulties


The Role
bestchance is currently seeking an exceptional individual with a positive, collaborative and can-do approach to join our dedicated training team. Based in Glen Waverley you will utilise your skills and experience to provide career and workforce development advice to a broad range of students. You will actively engage with students, industry and community stakeholders to drive engagement strategies that support the organisation to meet both client and industry needs. In addition to the provision of client support the role will also be responsible for the development and facilitation of a range of non-accredited training programs.
 

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Provision of support to students that enhances employment outcomes.
• Development of relationships with local employers and community stakeholders.
• Develop opportunities with employers which increases opportunities for students to attain employment outcomes
• Development and delivery of non-accredited training programs that enhance student outcomes
• Project management of initiatives which provide student outcomes and enhance employment opportunities


Required Qualifications

• 2 years customer services experience.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and fluent English.
• Display a high level of personal integrity, exercising discretion and empathy with student's needs.
• Have a positive outlook and be solution focused.
• Ability to prioritise, work efficiently with high levels of attention to detail
• Proven success in building and managing relationships with students, employers and community stakeholders.
• A current Working with Children Check or commitment or willingness to obtain.
• Current Drivers Licence.
