Contract: Casual
Hours: 7am – 9 am and 3.00 pm - 6.00 pm term time with the possibility of additional work over the school holidays
Wanslea Outside School Hours Care services provide a variety of recreational, educational and fun activities for children. If you are passionate about working with school aged children and have an interest in guiding their development and learning then this is the role for you!
An excellent opportunity exists for a motivated Assistant Educator to join the Wanslea Early Learning and Development team. As an Assistant Educator you will assist the Early Learning and Development team at Wanslea’s Outside of School Hours service at our services located at Beaconsfield, East Fremantle and Samson.
This exciting and important role is responsible for assisting with the daily facilitation of activities, including promoting and monitoring quality standards of care and supervision. You will be able to use and develop your skills and experience to provide a stimulating program for school aged students.
The position is on a casual basis, assisting services when required. The Outside School Hours service runs Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 9.00 am and 3:00 pm to 6.00 pm during school term and 7.00 am to 6.00 pm for vacation care.
Requirements:
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Police Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certificate III Children’s Services
- Emergency Asthma Training
- Anaphylaxis Management Training
