About The Role
 
The Education Coordinator is responsible for the planning, delivery and bookings coordination of education and school holiday programs for early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary students at SEA LIFE Melbourne.
 
Responsibilities for this role include:

• create, update and deliver education programs for SEA LIFE Melbourne
• coordinate the bookings of school groups
• deliver high quality and entertaining presentations and products to the public
• train staff in delivering high quality and consistent classes
• promote animal welfare and conservation issues
• promote SEA LIFE Melbourne Education products
• assist with the development of website content and other promotional materials.

About You
 
You will hold a recognised teacher qualifications and/or teaching experience in a similar field/cultural institution. You have experience with the delivery of marine science, zoological or aquarium education programs, along with an understanding of Victorian educational policies and practices.
 
You will be an exceptional communicator, who can communicate effectively across a broad audience. You contribute and thrive in a successful, fast paced team who are committed to consistently delivering an amazing guest experience through educational and interactive programs.
 
Your ability to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach along with high attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.
