We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our training team, assisting both the Geelong and Ballarat depots. This role will be responsible for the delivery of a range of training initiatives across our depots, as well as delivering operational and safety related induction and training and assessments.

You will be responsible for:

·        Delivering both classroom and on-road training and development programs for employees, contributing towards a culture of safety, continuous improvement and customer responsiveness;

·        Ensuring that all training and on road assessments are completed in a manner which meets the requirements of CDC and relevant external bodies; and

·        Provide regular and specific feedback to both employees and managers on individual performance as well as broader workforce performance issues.

To be appointed to the role you must have:

·        An uncompromising approach to health and safety, and highly developed customer service skills

·        At least 3 years bus driving experience with an exemplary safety and customer service record

·        Previous experience as a trainer or mentor

·        As a minimum, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110

·        Previous exposure to defensive driving and/or EcoDrive training

·        Excellent interpersonal and group communication skills in a multi-cultural workforce environment

·        Intermediate IT and administration skills, including proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

·        Ability to work flexibly, including varied work locations, irregular start and finish times and occasional weekend work, as required
