Located in a rapidly expanding area south of Cairns, Isabella state school's purpose is to provide opportunities for all students to achieve their potential. The school opened in 2007 and has continued to grow now housing 600 eager learners from Prep to Year 6.

Isabella State School is fortunate to have great new facilities and a dynamic learning community where staff work collaboratively, through a shared vision, to assist children to develop, extend and meet their potential. 

We pride ourselves on the music program our students have access to a music room with fantastic equipment both in the classroom and on the stage. There is enough un-tuned and tuned percussion to create whole class ensembles.  A class set of Ukulele's, keyboards for students to share, quality audio-visual equipment including a ‘Front-Row' classroom microphone system for hearing impaired students.  Our stage system includes a comprehensive fold-back, as well as a fully programmable 24 LED light system.
