Universal English has built a solid reputation on student classroom experience and teaching excellence. We would love to hear from ESL teachers with IELTS/EAP teaching experience (or a keen desire to be mentored into the role) who feel they can add value to our English Department and would like to develop as an individual. 

We have the following vacancies coming up:

• IELTS/EAP morning class (8:30am - 2:15pm, Monday - Thursday)
• IELTS/EAP evening class (5:00pm - 9:30pm, Monday - Friday)
• GE/IELTS/EAP weekend class (9:00am - 5:30pm, Saturday & Sunday)

Our English Department ideally requires experienced teachers, but more importantly; passionate and energetic teachers. We have invested heavily in our state of the art class rooms with brand new inbuilt 80 inch touch screen interactive LED's (basically an oversized iPad) to assist teachers deliver dynamic lessons.

Motivated teachers with outgoing personalities who can create vibrant and engaging lessons will fit in very comfortably in our talented teaching team. Our in-house Barista students prepare amazing coffee and hot chocolates FREE for staff which can be delivered to your class. Our private roof top Garden and BBQ area is available for outdoor lessons and class parties and we often run engaging and thought provoking PD sessions too.

We have excellent nationality mix in our classes with adult students from Europe, Asia and South America.

The hourly rate varies depending on qualifications and teaching experience from approximately $47 to $61 an hour and is based on the Educational Services (Post Secondary Education) Award.
