Who are we?
Blueprint Career Development has been operating as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO#30978) in Queensland since 2003. Over that time, we progressively increased our course offerings and currently deliver business, training and assessment, hospitality and personal development courses and qualifications.
Due to an expansion, we are seeking experienced, engaging and motivated trainers and assessors for our school based Hospitality Program
Trainers and/or Assessor - SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality
SIT20316 Trainer role
We deliver this qualification to over 25 QLD High Schools. Training locations include South East Queensland, Central and Far North Queensland.
We are looking for trainers to assist these young people to developing the skills they need need to secure work in their local hospitality establishments.
SIT20316 Assessor only role
Reporting to the Tourism and Hospitality Coordinator you will be responsible for marking our student's assessments via our online eLearning portal. This role is ideal for someone looking to work at home during the hours that suit them!
Looking to for your first role as a Hospitality Trainer? Applicants without Trainer/Assessor experience WILL be considered for this role! You must, however, have the appropriate TAE and Hospitality qualifications and relevant hospitality experience!
What do you need to be considered?
To be considered for both roles you must have:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment OR TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or high level qualification in adult education such as a Diploma, Graduate Diploma in Adult and Vocational Education and Training
- Hospitality Certificate such as the SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality, SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality. or higher
- Current, relevant hospitality experience
- Bluecard holder (or willingness to obtain)
In addition to the requirements specified above you will have:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a friendly disposition
- A strong work ethic
- Computer literate
Hours and conditions will be discussed at interview. Please note, this is a contract position and an ABN is required.
