As an Educator you will gain experience in

• play based learning, incorporating children's ideas and interests into planned experiences and routines.
• Work with the team to tailor each aspect of the service to engage, inspire and delight the children attending the service.
• And finally, giving you the experience to grow your career in early education

The Ideal Candidate

• Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their experiences
• Childcare industry knowledge and experience an advantage but not essential
• Experience working with and supporting teams to achieve results
• A work history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
• Experience of supporting continuous improvement and change

As a minimum, you must hold:

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Education Support or School Education and Care; OR
• Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Education and Care; OR
• Degree in Primary Education, Secondary or Early Childhood Studies or equivalent; OR
• Diploma or Degree in Recreation; Sport Science; Leisure Studies; Social and Behavioural Science or Nursing

Highly Desirable

• Supervising Officer Certificate (OR willing to apply for)
• First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR trained
• Must be available to work 5 days per week

After school only (approx. 2.30pm-6.00pm)

or

Split shift Before school (appox 7.00am-9.00am) AND After school (approx. 2.30pm-6.00pm)
