Job tasks and responsibilities

• Planning and Implementing an Educational program that meets the Centre's philosophy and the National Quality Standards,
• Following the policies and processes of the Centre 
• Providing a safe and nurturing environment to the children in care
• managing and providing support to Assistant staff, mentoring students on placement from time to time

Skills and experience

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Experience working in Long Day Care setting
• Understanding of the VELDYF
• Knowledge and understanding of the NQS
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lead a team of support educators
